The Green Life Sciences research cluster actively pursues an initiating and participating role in society.
This leads for instance to a close collaboration with partners in the entrepreneurial and innovative Dutch Horticulture & Starting Materials sector, especially in the 'Seed Valley' cooperation in the region north of Amsterdam.
In close cooperation with the sector the Green Life Sciences researchers search for and seize promising valorisation opportunities. Noteworthy in this perspective is the Green Life Sciences Hub initiative of the Amsterdam Economic Board in which the GLS research cluster actively participates.
Reseachers in Green Life Sciences are also very active in outreach activities. The public can meet our scientists at social events, web colleges and discussion nights.
